How to Make Business Flyers

Business flyers is a simple way to market your small business. This type of flyer contains everything about your company on a simple sheet of paper. You pass out the flyers to possible customers and those that might use your business in the future, post them on community boards, etc. The basic flyer begins with a sheet of paper. Lightweight paper is less expensive than heavier paper, but you want a good quality paper. The paper should not bleed the ink on the front or smudge when touched with your hand. If you are worried about the complexities and cost of marketing your business, then a flyer is the perfect solution for you.

When money is tight in your budget, print the flyers yourself on your home or work computer. Printing photos on the flyers is risky because the image might appear fuzzy or blurry. Instead of a photo, opt for a hand-drawn or computer-generated image of your company’s logo or mascot. The best flyers offer something that hooks a viewer as soon as they look at it. Walking down the street, you might pass several people passing out flyers. If the reader does not see something interesting within the first few seconds, they will likely toss the flyer directly in the trash.

One way to hook customers for your small business is by adding a coupon to the flyer. Instead of a coupon, you might try offering a discount that is only valid when the person brings a flyer to your store, or uses a discount code listed on the front. Discounts grab the attention of people looking at how to save money. The flyer should also include basic information that tells the shopper how to get in touch with you. Use your company name and address prominently displayed on the flyer. You can also list your website address and get free web marketing at the same time.

Print shops offer flyer printing, though you should compare prices from more than one company. The store-printed flyers are often better than the flyers you print at home, but are also more expensive. If you opt for a print shop, workers at the shop typically help you design the flyer and create the best one. When crafting your own flyers, choose a light paper color. When you pick a darker or brightly colored paper, you risk customers not being able to see your information. If you want customers, the customer must be able to find your business.
